It has been operating since 1988.

Project background
The school has classes from pre-KG to Class XII. There are about 1000 students (around 160 children come from the orphanage and around 800 students come from surrounding villages). They charge no fees and even provide text books, stationery and uniforms for free. There are 40 full-time teachers and 2 non-teachings staff. Due to demand for its services, the school is considering expanding to accomodate an additional 500 students. They have purchased the land and are now soliciting funds to build the new school building. Their estimate of total cost is Rs 58 lakhs.

Project description
The project is to help fund the school expansion. GKF had helped with the cost of the new school building last year, and this year Sevalays plans to build out the 2nd floor. GKF will pick up part of the cost of building this floor.
