Organization background
Sacramento MahaPeriyavaa Mandali (also called as MahaSwami Kunjithapatha Seva Trust)
is a charitable organization dedicated to preserving and promoting Indian Culture in North America.
The organization conducts multiple cultural and religious events catering to
the Sacramento, Davis and the SFO Bay Area community.
Examples of the types of events conducted are
- Cultural Events
- Concerts: "Nadha Pravaaham" (Sanjeev Venkataramanan (Violin), Srikanth Chary(Veena), Ravindra Bharathy Sridharan (Mridangam), Ganesh Ramanarayanan (Kanjira))
- Natyanjali Dance Festival - children and adults are given an opportunity to showcase their talents and develop
their talents and careers.

The cultural programs give children and adults an opportunity to showcase their talents and develop
them further. The religious programs enable the Hindu community to preserve ancient traditions,
and pay their respects to their Creator and teachers.
Such programs also
serve to introduce Indian culture and religion to the younger generation
so they don't forget the roots that they come from.
