INK
- Location : Delhi
- Community Served: Young innovators
- Focus: Entrepreneurship support
Organization background
INK (Information and Knowledge) is the Indian non-profit arm of
Ixoraa Media, an Indian for-profit corporation.
The corresponding US counterparts are INK Global Foundation
and Ixoraa Media Inc.
INK's main activities are to accelerate the journey of
young entrepreneurs
at the very beginning of their careers.
India is the youngest country in the world with,
approximately, 2/3 of the population aged below 35 years,
and entrepreneurship is taking a front-seat in this age group.
However, these young innovators face several barriers to success such as
lack of awareness, poor presentation and management skills,
insufficient fund raising experience or government issues.
INK identifies
young leaders, who have developed innovative solutions
to help address deeply entrenched social, cultural, environmental
and technical problems, and
provides them with a networking platform where these INK Fellows are
able to get advice and support from mentors and investors.
INK uses donations and CSR grants to run this networking platform.
Project background
Every year, INK selects 20 young Game Changers from diverse backgrounds
who redefine their field of work and the world around them.
The Fellows Program exists to discover these budding entrepreneurs and
support them in their journey by:
- Providing visibility to their innovative solutions
- Providing them with a community of mentors, funders and collaborators
- Presenting them as role models to motivate and inspire tomorrow's leaders
In 2020, the INK Fellows Program had 226
lifetime members from diverse disciplines and countries.
