Project background
Most students who attend Anandam Education Centre's after-school program
are first generation learners from impoverished backgrounds.
The Centre has smart classrooms, a computer training centre and library.
As a result of these supplemental learning sessions, many students have
done incredibly well at their respective schools.
In addition to academic support,
students are also provided with other forms of support:
nutritious snack and drink during the learning sessions,
one uniform set and shoes for their respective schools,
school kits and new outfits during festive occasions.
The Centre also assists students in securing scholarships
and admission into colleges, mostly free of charge.
If free admission is not possible, the Trust provides
financial assistance to approximately 40 students every year.
