Organization background

Since 1997, Association for Non-traditional Employment for Women (ANEW), has been working to empower underprivileged women by providing them with access to 6 programs: Basic computer applications, Advanced IT skill programs like TALLY & Accounting, Python & e-Publishing, home nursing, driving and a summer program for students who complete grade 12.

Project background

There is a strong need for computer literacy training programs to enable social and economic empowerment for women from disadvantaged backgrounds in the region. Most beneficiaries are first generation learners.

GKF contributions to ANEW

• 2022,2023,2024: Funding to provide 100 women basic IT training and 50 women training in Tally along with spoken English training and soft skills
